It’s has been printed, and it is on the peninsula - so near and yet so far!

You can read the full update on RoselandOnline (another great source of information) - https://roselandonline.co.uk/no-roseland-magazine-this-month-yet/

If you have an update you’d like me to share- just drop an email to roselandpodcast@gmail.com

Our first interview!

This week I’m chatting with Alan Durham of Tregony, local author, historian and poet - you’ve probably read his work in the Roseland Magazine.

We’re chatting about a subject close to my heart - writing and self publishing.

Whether you’re seeing now as your opportunity to finally get around to writing that novel / short story / biography OR you’re just fascinated by how those who do , do - I think we had a chat will entertain you all.

INTERVIEW

Huge thank you to Alan for being my first guest - and being so fun to chat to.

I’d like to have a couple of interviews in each show, and topics I’d love to cover are:

  • Art, Culture, History - we’ve got lots of clever and interesting people here on the Roseland  - who has a story to tell? Any of our local authors fancy having a chat about your latest book?
  • Education - any tutors fancy giving some tips on homeschooling?
  • Nature and farming - spring is all around us

If you’d like to come on and talk with me about any of those - or something else! The first step is drop me an email to roselandpodcast@gmail.com with your ideas and any questions you’ve got.

Everything is recorded in advance - so we can edit lots!

Also, do you run a local group? Like WI, and Sports team, a group of people with a shared interest - I’d love to chat about what you’re normally up to!

Again just drop me a line to roselandpodcast@gmail.com

You don’t even have to be willing to come on the show - if you have a recipe for a great drink, or meal please just email it in and I can read it out for you.

I hope this will help us all feel a little less alone, and a little bit more aware of how our community is pulling together.

If you want to make sure you hear the rest of the shows then bookmark roselandpodcast.com, and look for us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or your usual podcast app and subscribe.

Be kind and stay safe.

About the Podcast

Roseland Podcast
Updates on services, art, culture, history, sport(!), to help us feel less isolated
An audio podcast to help the communities on the Roseland stay connected during these interesting times.

Hopefully including:
- updates on services (like takeaways and food deliveries) from local businesses
- chats with interesting local people about interesting things
- updates on what people are doing to help each other

I suspect it will evolve as the weeks roll by...

NOT a source of medical advice! or politics.

Aim is to help those living on the Roseland peninsula feel a little less isolated.
Roughly speaking that means St Mawes, St Just-in-Roseland, Gerrans & Portscatho, Philleigh & Treworthal, Ruan Lanihorne, Tregony, Veryan and Portloe and all the little villages and homes in-between.
